On July 20th and 27th as well as on August 3rd, 10th, and 17th (Saturdays), from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., heavy weight vehicles will be banned from using all French roads.

On August 24th (Saturday) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. heavy weight vehicle traffic will be restricted in the regions of Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Grand-Est except for the A6 and A31 highways for drivers going from south towards the north. This restriction on the same day will also apply in the Hauts-de-France region, except for the A1 and A16 highways for those travelling from the south towards the north.

Exceptions will apply to vehicles delivering goods that are meant for the Olympics. Information about all important changes and live traffic conditions can be found on the Bison Futé website by clicking this link.
