Starting from this month, due to the process of security checks and reconstruction works, the traffic in the Frejus tunnel is going to be restricted. From August 26th, 10 p.m., until August 27th, 6 a.m., no traffic will be allowed in the tunnel.
On some days during the month of August, additional traffic restrictions will be implemented in the tunnel. In the nighttime period of these dates, alternative traffic will be implemented. This change is obligatory as it allows for the necessary security checks to take place. The restrictions will apply on the following dates – August 19th, 20th. 21st, 22nd, 27th. 28th, and 29th. On these dates, the restrictions will apply from 10.30 p.m. to 4.45 a.m. according to the following timetable:
