The new Tesla and MAN electric trucks

With international vehicle production companies trying to find ways to save the environment, two leaders of the market – MAN and Tesla – are planning on releasing two new fully electric trucks. These new trucks work just as effectively as any other truck model, yet their electricity-driven engines allow to reduce the effects of climate change.

MAN is currently trying to find ways on how to help the environment. Their new truck is special because it is fully driven by electricity and is just as effective as fuel-driven trucks. An incredibly powerful battery and an advanced charging system allow the truck to drive 600-800km a day. However, the production of electric vehicles is much more complicated and less automated when it comes to trucks. Hence, these electric trucks will be released only in 2024.

Tesla is also planning on releasing its long-promised electricity-driven Semi truck. This release will either happen by the end of this year or in 2023. The company is now allowing clients to pre-order and reserve the trucks. This truck can drive 450-800km and up to 640km when fully charged while simultaneously being able to carry a load that weighs up to 36 tonnes. This truck is special given that it does not harm the environment and it accelerates very fast despite the weight of the load. Tesla has also ensured the safety of Semi – the driver’s seat is located in the middle of the cabin to ensure full visibility. Simultaneously, there is also an autopilot system installed, allowing to avoid accidents and collisions.
