Due to the All Saints’ Day as well as some other national festivities, many European countries are going to be implementing additional truck bans this November. Because of this, in this article, we provide a list of all the countries and dates on which truck traffic restrictions will be in place in Europe.

November 1, Monday

Road bans will apply in the following countries:

• In Austria, France, Slovakia, and Hungary from midnight to 10 p.m.
• In Croatia from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m.
• In Luxembourg from midnight to 9:45 p.m.
• In Germany from midnight to 10 p.m. and only in the following regions: Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. In North Rhine-Westphalia, bans will be in effect from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.
• In Poland and Slovenia from 8 am. until 10 p.m.
• In Italy from 9 am. until midnight.
• In Liechtenstein throughout the entire day.

November 10, Friday

• Road bans in France will apply from 10 p.m. until midnight.
• Road bans in Poland will be in effect from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

November 17, Friday

Road bans will apply in the following countries:

• In Croatia from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m.
• In the Czech Republic from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.
• In Slovakia from midnight to 10 p.m.

November 29, Wednesday

Road bans in Romania will be in effect from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

November 30, Thursday

Road bans in Romania will be in effect from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.

On Saturdays (November 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th)

In November the Saturday road bans will apply in the following countries:

• In Austria from 3 p.m. until midnight.
• In France from 10 p.m. until midnight. On November 11th, due to a national holiday, the restrictions will apply throughout the whole day.
• In Hungary from 10 p.m. until midnight (this restriction does not apply to trucks of EURO 3 and higher categories operating in the international transport sector).
• In Luxembourg from 9.30 p.m. until midnight for those heading towards France and from 11.30 p.m. until midnight for those heading towards Germany.

Additional bans will also apply in these countries:

• On November 11th in Poland from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• On November 18th in Croatia from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. due to a national holiday.

On Sundays (November 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th)

In November the Sunday road bans will be in effect in the following countries:

• In Austria, Germany, France, and Slovakia from midnight to 10 p.m. 
• In the Czech Republic from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.
• In Italy from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
• In Luxembourg from midnight to 9:45 p.m. 
• In Liechtenstein and Switzerland throughout the whole day.
• In Slovenia from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
• In Hungary from midnight to 10 p.m. (this ban does not apply to trucks of EURO 3 and higher categories operating in the international transport sector).
